How about all us gun toting rednecks her in Pa. that Obama mentioned the other day. He thinks we are all a no brains, bunch country bumpkins. He is definitely never getting my vote. A vote for him is a like a vote for what toilet paper gives the best coverage "ass wiping coverage that is" not the amount of ply's you get.

I still think they all stink like sh%t but at least 2 of them have more experience then the other by far.  As Wayne stated he was still a snot nosed kid when the other two were on the political trail for years.

It is like racing a car, experience counts over all else.

Are these people taking the time to learn the issues, and the canditates actual positions before they cast their vote, or are these people more likely to cast their vote because of other reasons?

As for the "racer with no money" comments, I will not reply to any of them as they are not worthy of replying to.

As pointed out in a political round table discussion on Channel 10 tonight, what has made this year so interesting in the political scene and bringing scores of people into debates is not Hilary, not McCann, not even GWB. It's Barack.  So what is it about this guy? Is it his words, his big ears, the race card ( lets not forget he's half white), some of the issues he stands for? What does he have that ignites a passion in some people who have lost hope in our politicians.

For me I can relate to him. I've never been satisfied with the status quo, always challenging myself to do better, always challenging myself to leave my comfort zone. It's a scary thing leaving your comfort zone. I could have stayed at a job that I left that I pretty much liked, I would have had 35 years by now. Six weeks vacation, huge amount of sick time, a pretty good salary etc, etc. Yet here I am at the age of 55 driven with a passion to seceded, putting everything I have and then some into this business, living on the edge. Barack could have easily stayed at the law firm he was in or stayed  teaching constitutional law at a university. Yea he could have just sat back and made the big bucks. Had a nice life. Instead he driven to succeed, he has always thought he could make life for the common person a little better. He's lived it, he's put himself out there, never backs down but man enough to apologize for putting he's foot in his mouth.

Theodore Roosevelt was 42 when he became president after the assassination of president McKinley. TR was put as VP by party bosses of the time as to keep him in check and to keep his mouth shut.  TR was a dreamer, a person who inspired others with the words he spoke and the 35 books he wrote. He accomplished more then any other president in the history of this country. All for the common person, for the good of the country not corporate America. Things he created 100 years ago are still relevant today. Did he put his foot in his mouth.....you bet he did. But that happens when your out there, away from the comfort zone.

Is Barack a little naive on things, maybe he is but with that comes a freshness, his mind hasn't been corrupted through the political process yet. He reminds me of a young John McCann when he spoke his mind and could care less of the repercussions. Sadly that has changed for the Senator from Arizona.

Being a risk taker I'll take the risk on Obama as I really believe the quote that I posted some pages back from TR "there is no effort without error or shortcoming, but who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, who spends himself for a worthy cause; who, at the best, knows in the end, the triumph of high achievement, and who, at the worst, if he fails , at least he fails while daring greatly, so his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew victory or defeat"

I live my life by those words, I think a person like Obama does to.

So for those of you who haven't made up your mind yet (I know your out there as there have been close to 3000 views so far on this post) don't give up hope, never give up hope,  there not all A$$ Holes,  take a chance, leave that comfort zone.........just once, who knows you might be surprised at how it turns out.

This is my last post on this subject as a few minutes after I pull the lever I'll be off and running ( on the road for a few months), there's lots that has to be done before then with meetings and the such as I will not have the time reply and I have said all that need to say on the subject.

I wish you all  well and to my two wheel friends ride hard, ride long, ride safe!
