Hers the fuel pump going in.

 Im going to wait until I can get the car out of the garage before I replace the short piece of line from the tank to the pump. Better safe than sorry..

How did you get the cross beam to look so clean?

I am doing some cleaning of parts as well and use mostly acetone with brush to get the gunk out. What did you use, was it bead blasted or something?

I cheated alittle..... I got it pretty clean with water and Purple-P.

Thought I would try this paint.. it's tough, easy flow no drip's.

Im gona use this stuff on everything ! Smile

...rack is almost in ...

Im going to use my ATV jack to lower the rack back down... then raise it back up to line up the steering shaft to the universal joint .

That's 1 foot pumping the jack + 2 hands guiding the shaft leaning over the fender standing on 1 foot = some funny shizz Confusedhock: Confusedhock:

.......i should video tape it...Big Grin

Rack is in. Thought I was in for an ordeal but it took all of 5 min .

 I spent more time getting my jack ready.Smile
