What I mean is that the new 996 guys like you and Marty are getting faster.  I need to either make my car faster or drive better and faster.

So, how did the install go?  Pretty simple, no CEL issues, right?

Well, my 13 year old girl just joined a travelling softball team and I was informed by my wife that I need to take her to a tournament on Saturday and Sunday.

We had to leave our house at 5:45am so we can get there by 7:00 am.  There were 4 games that day.  We did not got home until 8:00pm.  No CAI installed.

The Saturday games were qualifying games.  The real game starts on Sunday.

To make the story short.  I ended up not have energy to install the kit.

Car is now at Performance for a tech and a couple of maintenance items before my Summit Point event next weekend.

Kam, with all of the downtime with the softball tournament, why didn't you just install the CAI at the fields? Where is your commitment? First, it's a marathon instead of wings & beers at Hooters. Now, it's softball instead of CAI install. What's next, watering the lawn instead of DE????

Just kidding, I know that family comes first.

Actually, I'm thinking about doing fewer DE's and put more focus on foot racing.

It felt great finishing the half marathon last month.  The feeling was very similiar to finishing my first club race back in 1992.  The only exception was that I have always wanted to race car but never thought that I would do a marathon.

I started running by accident early this year because I wanted to lose weight and running would be a good excercise to help losing weight.  My new job also sponsor a good number of 5k, 10 miler, and half marathon for its employees and family.

I had my first 5K since college with my daughter and she beats me by a lot.  The competitive side of me wanted to not lose a race to my daughter caused me to keep training.  The rest is history.  I'm hooked to running too.

By the way, running helps driving too.  I felt the difference in the cockpit.

I used to slow down in my last 5 to 10 minutes during a DE or racing session.  I feel fresh for the entire DE session.

May be I should just do the CAI install during tech session for Summit.
