OK Dave, I'll bite since I'm always curious about others opinions. Why is McCain so much better for our country? Sorry, but the Republican party has done far more damage to the country in the past 8 years than Obama could possibly do in 4. I may not completely agree with his views on everything, but a change MUST be made.
Also, if you are so inclined. Provide me with a reason why we should/are spending BILLIONS (if not TRILLIONS when it's all over) of dollars in Iraq when the money could be much better spent here. I'll save you the trouble, there isn't a good and valid reason for us to be there. The current administration has completely gone mad with power and has done nothing but use scare tactics to keep the country from running them out of office. Bush should have been IMPEACHED when he FLAT OUT LIED to the entire Senate, Congress and the AMERICAN PEOPLE on why we needed to go to war with Iraq. But we let this former alcoholic coke fiend run our country for 8 years. I mean c'mon, the man couldn't even run a freaking baseball team and we "elected" him as president? This country is absolutely insane. People see posts like your's and base their decisions on things like that vs. actually going out and looking at the facts.
I won't say that Obama isn't without is flaws, and he does have some major ones. But right now, he is the lesser of 2 evils. I'd rater endure 4 years of something a little different than go back to the status quo of the past 8 years.
