After trying many of the hotels in the area, my opinion is the Holiday Inn Express in Charles Town (Ranson) is one of the better choices. The rooms are relatively clean and they have a price of $82 for Summit Point. (YOU MUST ASK FOR IT). Winchester also has some nice choices, but I think it is a bit farther and the nicer ones seem to be more expensive. This seems to be the best compromise between nice and price.
