As a mid-pack Blue student, I am trying to focus on consistency rather than speed.  I just bought the following gadget to better judge the entry to turns:

http://www.digitalreviews.net/reviews/navigation/globaltop-hud-gps-speed-meter-hg-100-unboxed-2.html

At least for me, there is too much happening at Turn-In for me to be looking at the OEM speedometer, and the seat-of-my-pants is not sensitive enough yet.

I've seen similar devices, but this one updates five times per second.  Some others are only once per second.  I verified its accuracy using a measured mile on the Turnpike, and 60 mph was exactly 60 mph.  I've also tested its responsiveness to see if it followed vehicle speed when I rolled the car very slowly and stomped on the brakes.  It looked good enough to my untrained eye.
