I've never seen anyone with metal fuel jugs, but I'm sure the metal version are a lot heavier (as Brian mentioned) and more expensive. The plastic ones by VP Racing seem to be the most economical. I have eight of them. . . 4 in the trailer and 4 in the truck. When you buy them in 4-packs, they'll cost you about $25 each, or less if you shop around.
