Nick, I encourage you to give up your overpowered 911 and get into a proper race car that will reward momentum driving. The 2CV I raced in the 24 Hour last fall at Snetterton has the regulation 602cc engine (highly tuned, though) and a lowered and stiffened suspension. It rewards drivers on the proper line with good racecraft in drafting and passing. You car would had just powered on by without the need for any skill at all!
I've become so enamoured of a true race car without all the power your car has that I have put my street GT3 up for sale. Give it a try--you'll love its excessive power but still will not have to suffer computer aids or electronic nannies, nothing by ABS to save your tires and your own abilities.
