Gentlemen,
I'm just looking through my calendar and I see that the Lancaster County Corvette Club has two more events coming--8/21 and 9/18, both at their new AX location, Weaver Markets in Adamstown. Check their website for details.

As for the June 26 event I attended, it was cool. I spent a total of $33 and got 11 runs and was one of the last ones to leave at 2:00 PM. ($15 morning, $15 afternoon, $1/each for 3 fun runs). I worked the course, but that was definitely not mandatory. I'm a newbie, so I have limited ability to compare. I would say it was very fun, good driving, fast moving, low stress, nice people. As far as cons, the course had LOTS of curbs and wasn't otherwise that fast, but those things should be sorted with their move to Weaver Markets from HACC. Also, there was definitely not the sophistication or level of competition of the SCCA events, but that was OK with me. As far as the cars, 95% vettes, but of all gens, including a '63 split window. I thought they were cool to watch on the course, and I would rather watch them then Subaru's and Mitsubishi's all day. Rear wheel drive is much better to watch!
Overall cool, fun, HUGE value, great practice, and always a scenic ride to Lancaster. I would definitely go to any of their future events---as long as they weren't conflicting with any RTR AX's. I'd rather hang out with you guys!
They mentioned the Porsche v. Corvette's AX's with CPA. That sounded cool too. I will have to get some big practice in before attending one of those...
Drive on!!!
