Thanks to Myles, Paul, Brian and Rick for another great DE at the Glen. I had a similar expierence as Mike Kling last year which was also my first year at the Glan. At the time I was running quite confortable in white and really looking forward to running the Glen. Unfortunately, my first day was a real downer. After running over 40 DEs on five different tracks over the past 4 years, I felt like I couldn't do anyting right. Brooks suggested I go back golf (what are friends for?). The next day I asked Nick Hatalski to take a ride with me...Nick took me back to basics and once I got confortable with the line and the forgot about the sky blue guard rails 6 inches off the track, I had a blast! Nick went out with me a couple of times again this year and we picked up right where we left off.
I've run with most of the area clubs but what sets RTR apart from other clubs is the organization, instruction (both class and track), run group management and the supportive enviorment. The best blend of saftey and lots of track fun.
