Gang,
As Brian mentioned in a previous post, we are moving to on-line registration for all 2007 DE (and other) events. Hooray!!!!
Carol and I (yes, I'm married to the registrar - better be good to me this year - I see my mana rising
) would like to invite you to participate in a test of the new process before we go live before the Shenandoah event.
We are using the motorsportreg.com process as the basis of our on-line registration system. That's good news since many of you may already have motorsportreg.com accounts as this system is used by several other local groups such as the Delaware Valley BMW Club. If you do not have an account, you must create one to register for our events this year, as this is the only method of registration that will be accepted.
Click on the following URL to be taken to our new registration site:
http://rtr-pca.motorsportreg.com
If you do not have a motorsportreg.com account, proceed to the "Create Account" process and follow the directions to enter your information and set up your preferences.
Even though the event is a test, the data you enter into your account is real. So don't mess around here, no Carrera GT's as cars please
. Pay particular attention to your contact information, emergency contact, car, club membership, and medical information.
All the fees are set at zero for this test event. In a real event, you must submit payment via secure on-line credit card payment (preferred), or via check prior to your registration request being considered.
We'll keep this test event open for the rest of this week. This will give us the opportunity to experience how this all works before the real thing hits.
Speaking of the real thing. Registration for the April 28 – 29, 2007 Shenandoah Drivers Education Event will open up to Riesentöter members on Feb 28 and to the general public on Mar 7.
This system should make registering for our events simpler and less time consuming. Post any feedback to this topic.
Take care,
Jack
