I wasn't worried about scaring you. I doubt anyone in a car could do that after the experiences you described! My point was that the ride I gave you wasn't very instructional. Sure, it showed you what the car is capable of, but I didn't demonstrate techniques that you could immediately apply given your current experience.
For example, I could have driven each corner with one completely smooth steering input by dialing it back another second. That's the technique we need you to concentrate on at this point in your development, and I missed my opportunity to show you that. But, what you hopefully noticed was the consistency from lap to lap (at least when we weren't passing or being passed). Same brake point, same turn-in, same apex, same track-out, etc. So maybe I did show you something to emulate after all
