As a newer member, I have a question on the forum:

How many requests from members does it take to close a thread?  Let's just delete this before more people are polarized on this and any other issues.

I hope that the moderators do not close this thread but that it dies a natural death.

There are clearly some number of Club members who are unhappy with Club management. I applaud those who address their concerns openly and I despair that some prefer to hide behind an Internet alias and make personal attacks. The OP is obviously disingenuous and this thread has virtually nothing to do with the quality or courtesy of anyone's driving.

Let's concentrate on 2010 and helping the Club better serve all its members. We are an all-volunteer Club, and the Board welcomea and can use more volunteers. There is no glory and little thanks, but there is the satisfaction of trying to improve the Club, broaden its appeal and expand member participation. We will accomplish more with your help.

The easiest way to end this thread is if Graham would act like the President he was elected to be, and would respond to the OP.

If he didn't do what the OP stated, then Graham should defend himself and shame on the OP. If he did do what the OP stated, then admit it, and apologize.

Graham, it is well overdue that you stand up and be a man and act as the President of the region.

When a disgruntled individual, who is "no longer a toter," starts making ridiculous requests, the underlying scheme becomes more apparent. It is clear that some who are dissatisfied with the outcome of the election are seeking to force our President to resign in disgust over having to deal with all of the BS. I certainly hope he does not succumb to this loosely disquised scheme. I feel like I'm watching FOX News for crying out loud.

I don't know catchacab and he doesn't know me as I'm pretty new to this organization BUT...I sense a barely controllable anger against the organization and it's current leadership. I don't know why or how he may have been offended but perhaps it's time for him to move on. He's just making himself look foolish and vindictive and no good can come from it. His demand for an explanation and some form of entitlement to one, even though he's no longer a member, is off the wall. As far as the current leadership, the only ones I've experienced, they have my full support and I'm glad they volunteer their skills and time to this club.

First, I was a RTR member for the eight years. I have seen four presidents, and many board members since I first joined. I have seen the make up of the board as well as the active membership of the region change. (Not that all of that is bad).

This thread has had 117 replies as I now write # 118. This thread could have died at post number two if Graham denied what had happened or wrote what the OP stated did infact happen. Everyone would have read it and moved on.

Budman three of your four posts on this forum are in this thread.

If all of you want the thread to die, stop writing and defending Graham. He is a big boy and can defend himself if he wants to. If he doesn't and it appears that he doesn't then don't speak on his behalf.

I do not think that the OP is a PCA member, and feel that those of you that have attacted him, have shown that the prick is in the Porsche in this region.

The attitude and tone of this and other threads in additon to the actions taken by some of the members of the board is the reason why I switched regions. It is the people not the cars, and if this thread represents the people of the region, I do not wish to be a part of this region.

If you talk the talk, then walk the walk.

If you state you don't turn on your friends, then accept all of them for their short comings and mistakes. Not one of us are perfect.
