I can try to make it, but it depends on how it falls in relation to March 15th (Corporate returns due). It would certainly be a good way to start of the season and give my eyes a break from the computer. Also, it may depend on how quickly my clients get me info.
If things go like last year, it may be possible to catch a weekend. VIR, though, doesn't work. :X Steve

No one told us what was happening as we sat there idling, with no clue of what was going on for 20 minutes :? I was ready to pack it in, and we were finally released. It would have been nice if someone had come down the grid and let us know what had happened, so we could have relaxed a bit. I wasn't sure we'd even have a session. Could we put this on the list? Actually, at Summit Point you can tune your radio to listen to the PA......... Of course that is assuming you still have a radio that works. The repairs to get things going again are always sketchy at best. It's very hard to let people know we will be back up and running in "X" minutes. As soon as you do someone takes longer and, well it goes downhill from there.

Steve,
I'm not sure as it's been a while since I've used it...... I think it's 88.5 or something like that. Does anyone on this thread remember/know what it is?

I found the PA blasting over my NPR station that was 90.1. I think you'd get it at many frequencies at the lower end of the dial.

When I did some PCA racing several years ago, some regions/tracks did a neat thing by letting us take a passenger(s) on caution speed laps around the track during lunch break (some in street cars, some in race cars if they happened to have 2 seats). All that's really needed is permission from the track (I guess) and a trustworthy and sane person to drive the "pace" car.
