I have raced in SVRA for 6 years now and I can tell you that we race to and in and out of every corner. I ran a 1969 GT1 Vette, 1972 Toyota Celica in Group 2, a 1964 Vovlo P 1800 in Group 2 and a 1966 Cobra in Group 10 all bumper to bumper just no rubbing. I have passed and been passed in every corner at the Glen.

I agree with you Tony...at the vintage events I've been to, they don't seem to be pushing hard IMHO. If you want to see vintage cars race, go to Europe where they really drive those cars hard against each other--nothing like seeing a couple of Ferrari 250GTO's racing for position, sliding through the Ascari chicane at Monza with the rear ends hanging out

But then again, some people think DE is racing
