Brian:

Why would you not remove the picture as requested? It doesn't show any of the actions described in the OPs post. It adds nothing to the thread other than potentially identifying an individual. How is the thread "censored" by removing the picture?

As funny as this is, it's the beginning of very dangerous ground. The entire thread should be closed and removed.

Or, should we just open a section where we publicly post allegations of each other’s alleged lapses in judgment anonymously so that the rest of the car club can comment or demand a response.

It's not censorship. It's my opinion that topics like these are just way outside of the intent of the forum.

Maybe I just need to lighten up.

After the beating I took several years ago when my co-admin removed a thread and also a few postings I felt it was best to let this thread continue as it did not violate forum rules. The car owner understands the politics and approved of the steps I took. It is a case of you can't win if you do or do not.

The real question is:  If the "alleged" agressive driver was in an old Ford Taurus, would the initial poster's ire have risen to quite the same level?

Hah....another one is back.

BTW -- wasn't Navin Johnson the name of Steve Martin's character in The Jerk?

Perhaps we should drive around and take pics of people doing stupid things in Accords and Camry's, then we can post pics on the Accord and Camry Forums and all of their friends and co-Honda/Toyota owner enthusiasts can make fun of them...Big GrinCoolConfusedhock:

"Navin R. Johnson . . . sounds like a typical bastard."

This is not me being beligerant on the forum, I am merely quoting a movie with an appropriate title. . . The Jerk.

I find a useful lesson in this thread ---  "There, but for the grace of God, go I."   Since it is unlikely that I will never drive rudely again, I had better remove my Riesentoter license plate frames right away!   In fact, where can I buy a cheap BMWCCA frame?
