Okay so I cannot buy the cheap belts because the adjusters suck. So will look for new old stock. If any one sees any deals let me know. Thanks Bob and Darren

Jim,

You can get RJS Jan 2010 SFI 16.1 Spec. 5 point latch type harnesses for as little as $75 (complete with shipping), but I don't know how difficult they are to adjust.

So 2008 belts, with a 2013 expiration, means we could wear them for the entire 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 driving seasons, right?

And they're giving a 25% discount from full price, because they can't be worn for a full 5 seasons.  So they can only be worn for 20% fewer seasons than originally intended, but giving a 25% discount.  To me that means they're really giving an effective discount of something more like 5%.  Not all that compelling, in my view.

Unless I'm missing something.

Do you know that you'll be driving the same car 4 years from now?  Maybe you'll wreck your car and have to throw them out anyway.

Well thanks for that comforting thought.

I guess you've seen my driving lately, or been talking to my last instructor. Sad

Based purely on Darren's own driving...............Wink

Larry, you can beat them up a bit also.  I managed to get more like 35% off and even more if your willing to haggle.  They can't re-date the harnesses.  Good find by Darren to show you some of the opportunities out there.
