Ask Darren what it was like to instruct on the Nurburgring. Both of us did it and it is terrifying!!!!!!!!! You don't just go off the track if the driver screws up. You likely hit something or go over a guard rail into a town 2 stories below!

Go outside of PCA, and you'll find all kinds of instructors without any system or regimen. Many of them are racers or ex-racers, great drivers but they CAN'T COMMUNICATE. One year I failed an instructor candidate just for that reason.
