I'm planning on attending, weather dependent.

Does anyone know if they allow passengers?

V,

I left a message on the event chairperson's voice mail 'cause I had the same question;  Adam wants to come along to this one.  As soon as he calls me back I'll post.  This looks like a good low-key race, good practice if you want to keep ahead of the locals with their midnight blue rides.  Should be a good preview for the Porsche Corvette challenge as well.

Okay, here's the scoop:

Passengers with approved helmets are permitted, but they must be over 16.  Minor wavers will be available on site.  Anyone under 16 is not permitted in the cars or on the track during the competition.  That's the official word from the corvette guys.  Hope the weather holds this time!

Chuck
BTW - Stephane, is there anything you'd like me to contribute for your after-race gig?

Thanks Chuck. Fingers crossed for the weather.

Stephane, If everything works out and we get out early (before 2), I'll take you up on your apres autox invitation.

If so, I can host an after the race Beer and BBQ snack at my house for those interested.

I'll be there, I need practice to go after the Signal Orange GT RSR guy,...Big Grin.

Stephane

where is this Vette AX? I am not sure if I can make it, but maybe. I hope that I was able to help a few of you guys at the P&P event. I know that Chuck Smith does not need any coaching from me..... Wink That orange car is fast just sitting there in the lot.Big Grin

Nick,

Thanks for the compliments, but it's the handicap that has me ranking high, nothing more.  My times are middle of the pack at best.  Hope to see you there!

No I think I have it covered, I have mostly Corona's and a few local brews that were left from a previous party.

I also have burgers, sorry nothing planned for vegetarians,...

My wife left for Canada with the kids and left me with prepared meals including burgers for an army. She thinks I can't take care of myself,... Please....Cool

Nice venue. Arrived at 8:00 AM. Did 7 runs by 12:15. Low key event sponsored by the Lancaster County Corvette club.

Expected wide open course suited toward high powered Corvettes. Found a challenging tight course, great for Porsches. Average course time appox. 34 seconds. This is their first time on this lot. Expect to expand.

Would recommend this to other autoXers and wannabees.

Stephane, thanks for having us over at your house for apres autoX in Delaware/North Carolina.
