Will I still need a puller of some type?

or can I grab-n-twist with some channel locks.

You can grab and twist with channel locks and use heat, but they can be stubborn.  A press is your best bet.  You are welcome to use mine if you want.

You should take Myles up on his offer.  Bring your rotors and new wheel bearings too.  It will save you some time and you'll learn a lot along the way.
