Does anyone know where the Tech is being held on April 12th? Will they have forms or do I need to bring one? New to this, but excited for my first track experience.

Hi Bill,

The complete Tech Schedule can be found on the RTR Website www.rtr-pca.org under Activities, Driver's Education, Schedule. The Tech for the first event will be held at Vintage Motorsports (153 Pennsylvania Avenue, Malvern, PA). Tech starts at 9:00 am but get there early (8:30 or so) if you want to get in and get out.

You will need to bring a color copy of the tech form with you to the tech inspection. It can be found on our website under Activities, Driver's Education, Forms/Manuals - just click on the "Safety Tech Form" pdf to download it.

If you have any further questions regarding the tech inspection process, please reach out to our Safety Chairs, Dan Rufer and Steve Hoagland, at safety@rtr-pca.org. They will be more than happy to assist you.

By the way, we are just as excited to have you join us and look forward to seeing you at the tech session. Welcome to your new addiction!

Thanks, Marty Kocse, RTR Track Chair

No reason not to get there early to get a place in the queue, but if you have the time that day plan to spend a couple of hours walking around, viewing the cars, seeing how they get teched and talking with others you will see at the track. Once your car is teched and parked out of the way you will shortchange yourself if you do not also take the opportunity to meet some folks and talk more about DE. You can just pick out anyone there, introduce yourself and tell them that this will be your first DE--you'll get plenty of conversation. Some of our members attend tech sessions for DEs they cannot schedule--the conversation can be that good!

That's good advice. Appreciate the insight.
