How many of you guys run an in-car when you are DEing?

Do you use a standard camera or something that is more motorsports/impact sports specific?

Anyone combining video with data acquisition?  I have a Traqmate and you can use TrackVision to cobine it with video.  Are there systems that work better than others?

I would love to do this for the classroom sessions.

OK - I know - I'm a geek - but I think it would be cool Smile

Take care,
Jack

I use this mount on the rollbar with a Panasonic Mini DV camera.

+1 on the I/O Port mount.  I use a JVC mini DV camera (Sam's Club special).  I'd make sure that the camera has the wide angle lens - I think it's a 16 x 9 lens.  It provides a better view out the front window.  The only negatives are wind noise.
