Bob, we are talking the White run group. A few years ago (before the GT3s, Cup cars and Turbos were as popular as they are on track today). Running 2:15s was very respectable in Red. More experience will improve his times.

It would be interesting to put everyone on the track in equally prepared SC's and see how they do. Let the driver drive the car, not the car drive the driver.

Agreed a few years ago.  The guy that posted the vid commented on running an okay 2:15 in his 997 GT3.  The Glen is huge on HP and considering the track improvements it is just okay.  My car will run 2:13-2:14s with a  100 less ponies.  This is where the new cars make it unclear when a driver is ready for advancement (even with the criteria we now have, it can be very subjective on how well someone can handle the next level.  A 2:15 would do just fine in Red, but not if the corner speeds are a lot slower and causing log jams.  Smile
