the tesla is an interesting vehicle for sure...I think they get their add-on checkboxes from Porsche because the base starts out at one price and cha-ching by the time you checkout, you have your wow factor.
Though the electric car is a good start, producing electric is still for the most part, using fossil fuels and that number will drop with hydro, wind, and nuclear but it still isn't clean as everyone thinks, we just don't see it on our end much.
Though I do like the concept of not having to visit a gas station, especially in the chill of winter and for the most part the 286 mile range would suffice over most traveling during the week. If hydrogen ever because a viable option I think this would be the goto solution over time.
