I don't see where anyone said that... Wally is saying that for him, DE is more fun and for me, right now, it's the same, though I don't know who Sophie Tucker is.... You know I love AX, but at this point in my life, DE is more fun and satisfying for me. AX is great if it fits in, but if the choice is DE at Summit with RTR or AX nearby, I'm going to the track. I started AXing almost 20 years ago, it has provided me with invaluable experience and friends, I'm certainly a better driver for doing it.
