Bob Holbert was asked to drive at Le Mans for the Porsche factory team, finishing in 5th place with Masten Gregory and was named Sports Illustrated Sports Car Driver of the Year in 1961.
1961-08
Der Gasser featured a report on the Giant's Despair Hillclimb it which is was noted that Charlie Biedler had won the G production in his 1300S Coupe, breaking the record in the process.
1963-06
Eastern Pennsylvania Region in the summer of 1963, which hosted the 8th Annual Porsche Parade at Split Rock Lodge in the Poconos. This was the largest parade ever with over 300 of the approximately 2,000 PCA members attending the parade.
1964-06
Eastern Pennsylvania received the region of the year award in 1964 for the outstanding efforts in organizing a very successful parade.
1965-07
Meeting held at the Oak Tavern in Hatfield featured a "Home Movie Nite". Where anyone who had slides or movies of past PCA events were encouraged to bring them.

The club was invited to the headquarters of Porsche of America Corp. - POAC (what is now known as Porsche Cars North America - PCNA)to tour the facilities, meet and dine with the corporate big wigs and to generally see what was new with Porsche.
